About Role:
The recruiter is responsible for understanding and identifying the hiring requirements of the relevant business, creating job descriptions specific to the role, sourcing candidates through defined recruitment channels, conducting interviews, assessing candidates, and ensuring an efficient hiring process while providing a positive candidate experience. The role holder is responsible for ensuring the attraction of qualified candidates for vacant positions and overseeing the hiring process to guarantee that selected candidates possess the necessary skills and align culturally with the organization. The recruiter is responsible for the entire recruiting lifecycle and ensuring that a skilled and talented employee fills the vacant position.
Job Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with the hiring manager to gain a detailed understanding of the talent requirements. This includes fully comprehending the job description for the role and the allocated budget for the position. Additionally, advise the hiring manager on the appropriate salary range, estimated time to fill the role, and the necessary skills, knowledge, and experience required for the position.
- Create a job posting that is both persuasive and appropriate for the position. Proofread the job advertisement before posting it to avoid spelling, grammar, or punctuation errors.
- Share the advertisement on various channels, particularly on social media platforms, ensuring that the job posting receives maximum exposure and draws in a pool of qualified candidates with the necessary skills and experience to excel in the role.
- Execute the defined recruitment strategy by utilizing various recruitment channels and sources to source candidates of high quality for the vacant position.
- Screen and evaluate resumes, conduct initial phone screenings, and coordinate interviews to ensure efficient candidate selection.
- Conduct in-person interviews and assessments, provide detailed feedback to hiring managers, and ensure objective candidate selection.
- Extend the job offer to the candidate. Maintain communication with the candidate to ensure they join on the agreed-upon date.
- Create a positive candidate experience by managing job candidates from interview preparation to final offer negotiation during the hiring process.
- Develop talent pipeline for critical roles to reduce hiring time, improve the quality of hire, and enhance candidate experience for critical roles.
- Collaborate with the recruitment team and manager to create, refine, and execute innovative hiring strategies.
- Actively engage with job portals, social networks, and platforms to find quality candidates.
- Maintain a comprehensive record of passive and active prospects in a database, ensuring the organization’s hiring needs. Cultivate strong professional relationships with qualified candidates to ensure a successful hiring process.
- Provide the progress work status to the reporting manager and Management as required.
- Perform other special duties and projects as needed in support of organizational goals.
Desired Skill(s) & Competencies:
- Familiarity in talent sourcing and attracting a diverse workforce.
- Familiarity with the applicant tracking system.
- Familiarity with social media and other professional networks for sourcing profiles
- Knowledge of Qatar Labour Law
- Knowledge of MS Office
- Demonstrates good interpersonal skills.
- Good knowledge of English (both written and verbal)
- Good communication abilities
- Effective influencing skills
