We are looking for experienced Procurement Associate who is in Qatar and having NOC
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Procurement Consultant located in Doha, Qatar. The Procurement Consultant is responsible for coordinating the procurement process and ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures, while also identifying cost reduction opportunities and negotiating contracts. They will also work with cross-functional teams to achieve organizational goals and collaborate with suppliers to ensure that the necessary quality standards are met. They are also responsible for the below
* Analyzing the Purchase requisition (PR)/Material requests received from Indenting department (Project execution team) and taking necessary action on time.
* Weekly monitoring of the available Safety/Minimum stocks materials, and proceeding order of shortage materials.
* Activities includes, Checking the requested materials whether matching with approved material submittal, Sending enquiry (RFQ) to Manufacturers/Suppliers, analyzing quotations, performing Negotiations, Doing price comparisons, Preparing PO’s and obtaining management approvals for PO’s, Following up for the orders and getting the materials on time.
* Doing procurement for Service, Office supplies and Capital materials.
Coordinating with Finance for Payments of PO’s.
* Coordinating with Suppliers, Freight forwarders etc.
* Performing all activities (PR-PO) in SAP S/4 Hana
* Foreign & Local procurement.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
* 2+ years of experience in procurement or supply chain management
* Strong understanding of procurement laws and regulations
* Excellent analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
* Knowledge of SAP
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with stakeholders
* Experience working in the oil and gas industry is a plus
* Certification in procurement or supply chain management is a plus
* Procurement (PR to Pay)
* MM Module (SAP S4 Hana)
* Local/Foreign Procurement (Freight forwarders/Shipping)
* Knowledge in Inventory management (Store processes)
