Position: NDT Technicians (Non-Destructive Testing)
Job Description: We are currently seeking NDT Technicians for a distinguished state-owned Oil and Gas enterprise in Qatar. Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting inspections of static equipment, pipelines, and safety relief valves to assess conditions.
- Reviewing equipment and material specifications for safe plant operation.
- Performing inspections of new and existing plant equipment, analyzing results, and providing recommendations.
- Creating inspection and testing schedules, compiling RBMI data, and maintaining records.
- Collaborating with various departments to determine inspection frequencies and optimize equipment performance.
- Participating in safety audits, hazard studies, and environmental risk assessments.
- Reviewing contractor documentation related to new equipment fabrication.
Qualifications / Skills / Experience:
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering.
- Certification in API/ASNT/PCN/CSWIP or equivalent.
- Minimum 7 years’ experience inspecting pressure-containing plant equipment (Refinery, Chemical, or Oil & Gas Processing Plants).
- Proficiency in International Codes and Standards for pressure vessel and piping inspection.
- Strong understanding of welding techniques, QA/QC procedures, and NDT methods.
