Position: NDT Technicians (Non-Destructive Testing)

Job Description: We are currently seeking NDT Technicians for a distinguished state-owned Oil and Gas enterprise in Qatar. Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Conducting inspections of static equipment, pipelines, and safety relief valves to assess conditions.
  2. Reviewing equipment and material specifications for safe plant operation.
  3. Performing inspections of new and existing plant equipment, analyzing results, and providing recommendations.
  4. Creating inspection and testing schedules, compiling RBMI data, and maintaining records.
  5. Collaborating with various departments to determine inspection frequencies and optimize equipment performance.
  6. Participating in safety audits, hazard studies, and environmental risk assessments.
  7. Reviewing contractor documentation related to new equipment fabrication.

Qualifications / Skills / Experience:

  • Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering.
  • Certification in API/ASNT/PCN/CSWIP or equivalent.
  • Minimum 7 years’ experience inspecting pressure-containing plant equipment (Refinery, Chemical, or Oil & Gas Processing Plants).
  • Proficiency in International Codes and Standards for pressure vessel and piping inspection.
  • Strong understanding of welding techniques, QA/QC procedures, and NDT methods.
