Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- A minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in network engineering, with a specific focus on cloud networking.
- Strong understanding of network protocols and architectures, including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VPN, and VLANs.
- Experience with cloud networking technologies, such as Azure Virtual Network or Google VPC.
- Solid knowledge of network security principles, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and VPNs.
- Hands-on experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools, such as Wireshark, SNMP, and network analyzers.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex network issues.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Professional certifications, such as CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent, are preferred.
