Position
– NDT Level 3 coordinator
Minimum Qualification
– Diploma/Graduate and Level III as per the requirement of ASNT SNT-TC-1A in RT, PT, UT, MT & PAUT.
– Minimum 15 years of experience as NDT Level III.
– Shall have experience in offshore projects.(Jacket, Topside and Pipeline).
– NDT supervisor shall also have, as a minimum, five years post certification experiences.
– Good knowledge in international codes and standards of offshore structures and NDT.
Duties
– Submission of procedures and development of NDT plan, scanning plan ect. Identifying the requirements of calibration blocks and preparing the sketches for blocks.
– Specifying and running of procedure qualification tests.
– Control of all NDT activities.
– Data collection, update, maintenance, and reporting.
– Ensuring the availability of adequate NDT equipment and manpower resources.
– Ensuring equipment calibration register is maintained.
– Review and endorse all NDT reports issued by the NDT operatives.
– Ensure and witness that the mandatory checks on NDT equipment and consumables are carried out and reported in accordance with applicable specifications and manufactures ‘recommendations.
– Ensure that the examination coverage satisfies the requirements defined in the specifications.
– Ensure that all NDT operatives/technicians have access to all required specifications, drawings, procedures, and records required for performance of work.
– Client coordination .
Location : Mesaieed (Qatar)
Duration : 6 Months and extendable (Contract Basis)
Mobilization time : immediate
Working Hours : 10 hours per day 6 days in week (excluding lunch break)
