Job Summary

At iHorizons, the Team Lead – Marketing plays a pivotal role in driving the company’s marketing efforts and establishing a strong brand presence in the B2B IT services industry. This role is responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing plans, managing the marketing team, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives. This role will contribute to the growth and success of iHorizons by implementing innovative marketing strategies and delivering impactful campaigns to engage and attract potential clients.

  • This job reports to the CEO
  • The corporate communications team reports to this role holder

Job Objectives

  • Develop and execute marketing strategies to promote iHorizons’ IT services and solutions to B2B clients
  • Enhance brand visibility and reputation in the IT services industry
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align marketing activities with business objectives

Job Responsibilities

Marketing Strategy and Planning

  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans, including strategic positioning, target market identification, and campaign implementation
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify industry trends, customer needs, and new business opportunities
  • Collaborate with Sales to define and prioritize target market segments
  • Identify key messaging and value propositions to effectively communicate iHorizons’ offerings

Event Marketing

  • Develop and implement the event marketing strategy to promote iHorizons’ brand and generate leads
  • Identify relevant industry events, conferences, and trade shows for participation
  • Coordinate logistics, including booth setup, materials, staffing, and post-event follow-up
  • Leverage events to build brand awareness, engage with prospects, and foster client relationships

Social Media Marketing

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive social media marketing strategy to engage and grow iHorizons’ online community
  • Create and curate engaging content for various social media platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook) to increase brand awareness and generate leads
  • Monitor social media trends and leverage emerging platforms and features to enhance the company’s social media presence
  • Implement social media advertising campaigns to reach targeted audiences and drive website traffic and lead generation
  • Analyze social media metrics and generate reports to assess the effectiveness of social media strategies and campaigns

Market and Industry Research

  • Conduct directly or through third party service providers research on IT industry trends, new product/services trends, competitor landscape, and the general Qatar IT market
  • Identify and assess market trends, including shifts in customer demand, competitive offerings, and technological advancements
  • Ensure training need analysis is done for team members and that the chartered training programs are administered properly

Processes, Best Practices & Work Standard Management

  • Ascertain that work processes and tools followed by the team are effectual and of high standards
  • Establish and document best practices
  • Compare current practices to relevant industry best practices and bridge gaps (if any)
  • Closely monitor & audit the processes of the function to ensure the quality & work standards are maintained
  • Evaluate the efficiency of the tools and constantly update them
  • Research the evolving areas of work, new market trends & changes and keep functional processes and standards updated by incorporating these trends and changes into the work model and leading its adoption

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 10-12 years of experience in B2B marketing, preferably with the majority in the IT services industry

Skills And Abilities

  • In-depth knowledge of marketing principles, strategies, and tactics relevant to the regional market
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, including SEO, SEM, social media, and email marketing
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills
