Position: Nurse – Psychiatry
Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree in nursing or an Equivalent degree.
- Valid Primary license from the country of origin (if applicable).
- Eligibility for a license from the Licensing authority in the State of Qatar to practice Healthcare Profession (Qatar Dataflow and Prometric Qualified).
- Up-to-date CPD (Continuing Professional Development) points.
- Previous psychiatric experience is a prerequisite for consideration.
- Applicants from Egypt and Lebanon with a three-year bachelor’s degree are eligible.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Profound knowledge of clinical services and systems.
- Thorough understanding of administrative services and systems.
- Ability to develop a proficient understanding of Qatar-based criminal justice services and systems.
- Experience in nursing within the mental health and addictions field.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, self-organization, and communication abilities.
- Competent IT skills, including proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet software, and health management information systems.
- A talent for motivating others, cultivating relationships, and coordinating responses for prospective patients and external agencies to ensure expedited admission and high-quality care delivery in appropriate settings.
