We are hiring an ELV draftsman for a short-term job in Qatar. This role suits people who know CAD drawing well and have worked on engineering, construction, or audio-visual projects. The contract is for 4 months and can be extended.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare CAD shop drawings, as-built drawings, and wiring diagrams.
  • Prepare technical offer submittals, catalogues, and bills of quantities (BOQs).
  • Prepare system operation and maintenance manuals.
  • Follow the company’s quality manual in daily work.
  • Write monthly, annual, and other project reports.
  • Work with engineers, project managers, and site teams.
  • Review and update drawings based on project needs and client comments.

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of experience as a CAD designer, CAD draftsman, or design engineer.
  • Hands-on experience with shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and as-built drawings.
  • A diploma or bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, architecture, drafting technology, or a related field.
  • Strong AutoCAD skills in 2D and 3D.
  • Knowledge of local and international drafting standards and codes.
  • Ability to manage several project deadlines at the same time.
  • AutoCAD or other CAD certification is an advantage.
