Senior Quality Expert

Edgewater Technical Services L.L.C is looking for an experienced Senior Quality Expert to join its team in Qatar. This is a senior quality assurance job in Qatar where you will lead the company’s quality management system and work closely with many departments to keep business processes strong and compliant.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and rollout of the organization’s Quality Management System (QMS).
• Work with different departments to create corporate policies and business processes.
• Run quality reviews and lead ongoing process improvement projects.
• Make sure management systems are set up, documented and maintained according to ISO requirements.
• Plan and supervise quality system assessments and agree on corrective actions.
• Provide technical quality support to other teams and deliver QMS training to staff.
• Track business process KPIs and report performance to top management.
• Coordinate with the Enterprise Risk Management and Corporate Planning teams.

Requirements

• An MBA or a BSc in Engineering or Business Administration.
• A Chartered Quality Professional qualification from the Institute of QA.
• At least 15 years of postgraduate experience, with 10 years in areas such as quality management, planning, change management, balanced scorecards or risk management.
• Experience in QA management in construction or a similar field is preferred.
• Training in internal and external ISO 9001 auditing is mandatory.
• Good computer skills in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Visio.
