Coordination Draftsman

Lanco Engineering is looking for a Coordination Draftsman for a 6-month job in Umm Qarn, Qatar. The role can be extended and the start date is immediate. This is an urgent hiring need, and the employer prefers Filipino candidates.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and update technical drawings for architectural, structural, and MEP (mechanical, electrical, and plumbing) systems.
• Coordinate drawings so that all systems fit together properly on the project.
• Work with engineers, consultants, subcontractors, and other project teams.
• Make sure drawings follow project requirements, specifications, and approved standards.
• Identify and solve clashes between different drawings.
• Manage drawing revisions and quality checks.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• At least 3 to 5 years of drafting and drawing coordination experience in construction.
• Good skills in AutoCAD, including shop drawings and coordination drawings.
• Knowledge of architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
• Knowledge of BIM, Revit, or Navisworks is an advantage.
• Understanding of drawing standards, revisions, and document control.
• Good coordination, communication, and organisation skills.
