An offshore HSE Officer job is open in Qatar for 2 to 3 people on a contract of 2 to 3 months. This role suits health, safety and environment professionals who have solid oil and gas experience and are ready to work offshore.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor safety on site and report on HSE performance.
  • Carry out and review risk assessments.
  • Apply Permit-to-Work systems correctly.
  • Check that HSE regulations are followed in offshore operations.
  • Communicate clearly with teams about safety matters.

Requirements

  • A diploma or bachelor’s degree in Engineering, HSE, or a related field.
  • NEBOSH IGC or an equivalent certificate (mandatory).
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant oil and gas experience, preferably offshore.
  • Previous QatarEnergy approval (mandatory).
  • Good knowledge of HSE regulations, risk assessments and Permit-to-Work systems.
  • Strong communication, reporting and safety monitoring skills.
  • Must be available in Qatar with a valid QID and willing to work in an offshore environment.
