Elegancia Group is hiring two BIM Draftsmen for a job in Qatar. The roles are open to local hires only, and they cover both structural and architectural drawing work on construction projects.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain structural BIM models and shop drawings (BIM Structural Draftsman).
- Prepare structural steel and reinforced concrete drawings.
- Prepare architectural shop drawings, plans, elevations, sections and detailed drawings (BIM Architectural Draftsman).
- Build and update architectural models in Autodesk Revit.
- Coordinate with structural and MEP teams.
Requirements
- For the structural role: a diploma or bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, and at least 5 years of experience as a BIM Structural Draftsman.
- For the architectural role: at least 5 years of experience in architectural drafting and BIM modeling.
- Strong skills in AutoCAD and Autodesk Revit.
- Knowledge of BIM standards is needed. Coordination and clash detection knowledge is an advantage.
- Experience in Qatar or GCC construction, fit-out or projects is preferred.
- A valid QID with a transferable visa.
- For the structural role: ability to join immediately or within 30 days.
