Position Overview: The Art of Cardz (AOC) is seeking additional Sales Associateto join our team in Doha, Qatar. The ideal candidate will have a passion for Trading Card Games (TCGs) and/or Sports Cards and customer service, with the willingness to learn about social media operations, online order processing, and inventory management. This position reports directly to the Store Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing excellent customer service.
- Offer expert advice and recommendations on a wide range of TCG products, including popular card sets like Yu-Gi-Oh!, Magic: The Gathering, Pokémon, and Sports Cards (Football and Basketball).
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using our POS system.
- Prepare and submit daily sales reports, tracking store performance and revenue.
- Monitor and maintain store inventory levels, ensuring timely replenishments of popular TCG cards and related products.
- Assist with social media posts, promotions, and customer engagement to increase brand awareness.
- Assist in the packing and dispatching of online orders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve store targets and foster a positive shopping experience.
- Ensure the store is organized, clean, and well-stocked at all times.
Qualifications:
- Passion for TCGs and familiarity with popular trading card games such as Yu-Gi-Oh!, Magic: The Gathering, Pokémon, and Sports Cards (Football and Basketball).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact positively with customers and team members.
- Basic understanding of retail sales principles, customer service, and cash handling.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new tasks, including social media management, online order processing, and inventory management.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in retail, business, or related fields is a plus.
- Previous experience in a retail environment is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends.
