Position: QA/QC Technician
Job Overview: We are currently seeking a highly motivated QA/QC Technician to join our team at a prominent government Oil & Gas company in Qatar. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting and overseeing internal quality checks and monitoring activities in compliance with established procedures. If you have a strong background in Plant Sampling, Chemical Analysis, and Industrial Laboratory work within the Oil & Gas industry, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct or supervise internal quality checks and monitoring activities, including probe measurements, online retrieval operations, chemical inhibition checks, and scaffolding requirements, in accordance with SAP PM Orders.
- Maintain and update the quality database, generating routine reports to document all results.
- Adhere to Energy, Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality procedures and standards.
- Execute preliminary audit inspections related to maintenance and corrosion damage mechanisms, and initiate preliminary field findings as needed.
- Ensure timely follow-up on laboratory tests or analyses of samples.
- Verify the calibration certificates of protection measurement instruments and promptly report any identified malfunctions.
Qualifications / Knowledge / Skills / Experience:
- Diploma in Chemistry, Physics, or equivalent at the ordinary National Diploma level.
- Minimum of 5 years’ hands-on experience in Plant Sampling and Chemical Analysis within an Industrial Laboratory setting in the Oil & Gas Industry.
- At least 2 years’ experience specifically as a QA/QC Technician.
