As the Catering Manager, you will play a pivotal role in orchestrating flawless event catering services, finalizing sales agreements, and ensuring the seamless alignment of catering order forms with our clients’ discerning expectations. Your responsibilities will encompass a spectrum of tasks, including menu curation, venue and equipment coordination, as well as the recruitment and management of our dedicated catering staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with clients to discern their unique preferences and propose innovative catering solutions.
- Skillfully negotiate pricing and craft meticulous catering order forms that reflect exacting requirements.
- Artfully plan menus, overseeing the meticulous preparation of food, service, and venue arrangements.
- Spearhead the recruitment, training, and supervision of our dedicated catering team, meticulously managing staff schedules.
- Foster effective communication and collaboration between clients, sales teams, talented chefs, and specialized catering equipment providers.
- Ensure seamless execution of seating arrangements, meal and beverage service, and table clearing.
- Maintain vigilant oversight of catering stock and supplies, taking proactive steps to restock as needed.
- Keep precise records of catering expenditures to ensure budget adherence.
- Uphold strict compliance with food and health industry regulations and standards.
- Continuously research emerging catering trends and innovate strategies to enhance our competitive catering services.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality and Culinary Arts or Business Management would be a distinct advantage.
- Possess 5-8 years of proven experience in catering management or a comparable role.
- Proficiency in utilizing electronic catering management systems, including Better Cater and Cater Ease.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver exceptional catering services on time and within budget constraints.
- Proven expertise in personnel management, including recruitment, training, and oversight of catering staff.
- Exceptional coordination skills to seamlessly liaise between clients, chefs, and suppliers to meet and exceed expectations.
- Harness industry insights to continually enhance our catering services.
- In-depth knowledge of catering management best practices.
- Stellar interpersonal and communication prowess.
- Qatar Driving License is a prerequisite.
- Valid QID and NOC are mandatory.
- Immediate availability for joining is required.
