Role Description
1. Identify and evaluate potential commercial retail properties for lease or purchase.
2. Conduct market research and analysis to identify market trends, demand, and competition in the commercial retail sector.
3. Develop and maintain relationships with property owners, real estate agents, and other industry professionals to source commercial retail opportunities.
4. Negotiate lease terms, rental rates, and other contractual agreements with landlords and tenants.
5. Conduct property tours and inspections to assess condition, suitability, and potential for improvement or redevelopment.
6. Collaborate with leasing and marketing teams to develop and implement effective strategies to attract and retain tenants.
7. Provide guidance and support to tenants regarding lease negotiations, tenant improvements, and other leasing-related matters.
8. Monitor and analyze financial performance, occupancy rates, and market conditions to assess the profitability and viability of commercial retail properties.
9. Stay up to date on industry regulations, zoning laws, and building codes to ensure compliance in all commercial retail activities.
10. Collaborate with property management teams to address tenant concerns, resolve issues, and maintain positive tenant relationships.
Qualifications
- Commercial Real Estate and Real Estate knowledge and experience
- Financial and mathematical abilities to perform analysis and recommendations
- Excellent verbal and written Communication skills
- Customer Service skills with an ability to manage relationships and contracts
- Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business Administration or a related field
- Knowledge of Qatari real estate laws, regulations, and trends would be a plus
