JOB VACANCY: Maintenance Technician (Multi-Skilled Tech)
We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing various general maintenance and repair tasks for assigned equipment and facilities, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, heating and cooling, and other building systems.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect and identify equipment or machines in need of repair.
- Troubleshoot issues to determine the necessary repairs.
- Plan repair work using building blueprints or equipment manuals as needed.
- Perform general repairs that do not require specialized technicians, such as drywall repair, painting, and fixing doors and other building fixtures.
- Conduct routine maintenance on building systems.
- Assist with cleaning and maintaining the facilities.
- Place orders for supplies and materials required for repairs and maintenance.
- Carry out any other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in general maintenance and repair work.
- Proficiency in various maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC systems.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and equipment manuals.
- Strong troubleshooting skills.
- Basic knowledge of building systems maintenance.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- High attention to detail and quality of work.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
