Waiter / Barista

HJ Holding is looking for a Waiter and Barista to join its team. This waiter and barista job in Qatar suits people who enjoy serving food and drinks in a busy restaurant or café setting.

Responsibilities

• Take customer orders accurately and answer their questions about the menu.
• Serve food and beverages following proper service procedures.
• Prepare coffee and other drinks, including working with espresso machines.
• Recommend menu items and share knowledge of ingredients and products.
• Use the POS system and handle cash payments correctly.
• Keep a friendly, clean and organised service area during busy shifts.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a waiter, barista, or in a similar restaurant or café role.
• Good knowledge of food and beverage service and basic coffee preparation.
• Strong customer service, communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to multitask and work well in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive attitude and a neat, presentable appearance.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Good spoken English. Other languages are an advantage.
• Experience with POS systems and cash handling, and a Food Handling Certificate, are preferred.
