Traffic Supervisor

We are looking for a Traffic Supervisor to plan, deploy and audit temporary traffic management (TTM) operations across several work fronts in Qatar. This job is open in Qatar and focuses on keeping road users, pedestrians and workers safe while keeping project schedules on track.

Responsibilities

• Supervise traffic management work in line with the Qatar Work Zone Traffic Control Manual.
• Coordinate lane closures, diversions, and the setup of signs and barriers.
• Check that TTM crews follow approved layouts and monitor their performance.
• Protect road users, pedestrians and workers at active work zones.
• Inspect TTM setups every day and fix any problems straight away.
• Work with Ashghal, Traffic Police and consultants to get approvals.
• Support emergency responses and quick traffic diversions when incidents happen.
• Train crews on TTM standards, safe working habits and PPE rules.
• Keep TTM records, logs and shift reports up to date.
• Handle other related tasks assigned to support the business.

Requirements

• A diploma or bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or transportation. Advanced TTM training is an advantage.
• 5 to 8 years of experience managing TTM crews and multi-front diversions on major infrastructure roads.
• Strong skills in TTM planning, work-zone risk checks, incident response, night-work supervision and inspection reporting.
