Site Supervisor – OSP Telecom

Sirti Mena for Projects W.L.L. is looking for a Site Supervisor for OSP telecom and civil activities. This is a full-time, on-site site supervisor job in Doha, Qatar. The role suits people with telecom construction experience who can lead field crews and keep work safe and on schedule.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily field work for outside plant (OSP) telecom, including fiber and copper networks, trenching, duct laying and cable pulling.
• Coordinate civil works such as excavation, backfilling, concreting, masonry, plastering and flooring.
• Allocate daily tasks to workers, technicians and subcontractors, and track productivity and use of materials and equipment.
• Check that all work follows approved drawings, method statements and quality standards, and help the QA/QC team with inspections.
• Find defects, make sure corrective actions are done, and keep accurate site records.
• Prepare the daily progress report and send it to the project management office.
• Run daily toolbox talks, enforce PPE use, report hazards and incidents, and keep the site clean and safe.

Requirements

• Strong supervisory and team management skills.
• Good knowledge of telecom networks, especially OSP, fiber and copper installation.
• Experience in telecom construction, OSP or infrastructure projects in a site supervisor role.
• Understanding of HSE rules and safe work practices.
• Ability to read technical drawings, work orders and project documents.
• Basic reporting tools and site documentation skills.
• A diploma or degree in telecommunications, engineering or a related field is preferred. Practical experience may be considered instead.
