Al-Balagh Trading and Contracting Co. W.L.L. is looking for a Planning Engineer for its Proposal and Tender Department. This planning engineer job in Qatar suits an experienced civil engineer who knows how to build tender programmes and project schedules for construction work.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare tender programmes for construction projects before contract award.
  • Carry out critical path analysis to show how the project will run.
  • Build resource-loaded schedules that show manpower and equipment needs.
  • Create manpower and equipment histograms, S-curves and cash-flow schedules.
  • Support the proposal and tender team with planning information.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
  • At least 7 years of planning experience.
  • 3 to 5 years of pre-contract tendering experience is preferred.
  • Strong skill in Primavera P6, which is mandatory.
  • Good knowledge of tender programmes, critical path analysis and resource-loaded schedules.
