A lubrication technician job in Doha, Qatar is open in the oil, gas and refinery sector. The role focuses on keeping rotating equipment well lubricated so that plants run safely and smoothly.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out preventive and corrective lubrication of rotary equipment.
  • Check and fill lube oil and grease in bearing housings, oil consoles and crank cases.
  • Replace and clean lube oil systems, filters, sight glasses and hydraulic oil filters.
  • Look after auto-greasing and drip-feeding systems.
  • Report daily lubrication tasks and tell your supervisor about any abnormal findings.
  • Handle and store lubricants safely.
  • Raise corrective work orders and suggest oil analysis when needed.

Requirements

  • A diploma or certificate in Mechanical Technology.
  • At least 5 years of experience as a rotating equipment lubrication technician.
  • Two more years as a rotary technician is preferred.
  • Good knowledge of mechanical rotary equipment.
  • A machinery lubrication course is an advantage.
  • Ability to work in a multinational environment.
  • Age limit: not over 40 years.
