JOB DESCRIPTION
INVENTORY CONTROLLER
Qualification:
• Commerce Degree preferably BBA/B.com.
Experience:
• Possess minimum 05+ years of experience as an Inventory Controller, with a
preference background in the Steel Industry.
Key Expectations & Skills Required:
• Excellent numerical and mathematical skills.
• Excellent hold on ERP, MS office.
• The ability to prioritize and effectively manage time and work under pressure.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities:
• Coordinate with purchasing and procurement teams to ensure timely and
accurale accounting of orders and inventory.
• Monitor and track incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure they align with
inventory levels and demand forecasts.
• Conduct periodic inspection and reconciliation ot inventory & assets.
• Analyze inventory data and generate reports to provide insights into stock
trends, slow-moving items, and potential shortages.
• Utilize data to make informed decisions regarding inventory adjustments,
reordering, and replenishment strategies.
• Work closely with various departments, including sales, production, and
logistics, to understand their inventory needs and address any concerns.
• Collaborate with the finance team to reconcile inventory records and ensure
accurate financial reporting.
• Utilize inventory management software and other tools to track, monitor, and
report on inventory related activities.
• Implement technology solutions to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of
inventory control processes.
