EGEC Qatar is looking for an experienced Environmental and Sustainability Engineer to join its team on a full-time basis. This is a full-time job in Qatar for a professional who understands green building standards and construction projects.

Responsibilities

  • Manage environmental and sustainability work on construction projects.
  • Prepare environmental plans and monitoring reports.
  • Prepare GSAS documentation for projects.
  • Coordinate with design teams, contractors and government authorities.

Requirements

  • GSAS certification, such as GSAS-CGP or GSAS Practitioner, is mandatory.
  • ISO 14001 or LEED credentials are mandatory.
  • At least 10 years of experience in environmental management and sustainability within construction projects.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering or a related field.
  • Good knowledge of Qatar environmental regulations and GSAS design and construction criteria.
  • Candidates must be based in Qatar.
