A renowned company in Qatar is on the lookout for a skilled and meticulous Draftsman to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in crafting accurate and detailed event layouts, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure flawless execution of our events. As a Draftsman, you will work closely with our event planners, designers, and production teams to translate creative ideas into practical designs that breathe life into our events.
Responsibilities:
- Create precise and comprehensive event layouts, floor plans, and technical drawings using drafting software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, etc.).
- Collaborate with event planners and designers to grasp project requirements and translate innovative concepts into feasible designs.
- Ensure that all drawings adhere to industry standards, safety protocols, and venue specifications.
- Effectively communicate with the production team to provide clear directives for event element setup and installation.
- Review and refine drawings based on feedback from the team and clients.
- Maintain an orderly library of drawings and design files for convenient reference and upcoming projects.
- Assist in preparing design presentations for clients.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Draftsman, preferably in the events or exhibition sector.
- Proficiency in drafting software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar tools.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy when producing technical drawings.
- Excellent communication skills for seamless collaboration with diverse cross-functional teams.
- Ability to thrive under tight deadlines and effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Understanding of event production processes, materials, and logistics is advantageous.
- Diploma or degree in architecture, design, or a related field.
