Credit Controller

Qarar is looking for a Credit Controller to join its finance team. This is a credit controller job in Qatar for an experienced accounts professional who knows how to manage receivables, follow up on payments and keep customer accounts clean and accurate. Local hire candidates are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full accounts receivable and collection process from start to finish.
• Watch customer balances, aging reports and overdue accounts closely.
• Carry out account reconciliations and allocate cash receipts correctly.
• Work with internal teams and customers to make sure billing and collections happen on time.
• Prepare collection forecasts and management reports.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
• 5 to 7 years of experience in credit control, accounts receivable, billing, collections or reconciliations.
• Experience in trading, contracting, engineering or maintenance and service industries is preferred.
• Fluent in English and Arabic.
• Strong knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent communication, collection and reporting skills.
