Lanco Engineering is looking for a Coordination Draftsman for a 6-month job in Umm Qarn, Qatar. The role can be extended and the start date is immediate. This is an urgent hiring need, and the employer prefers Filipino candidates.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and update technical drawings for architectural, structural, and MEP (mechanical, electrical, and plumbing) systems.
- Coordinate drawings so that all systems fit together properly on the project.
- Work with engineers, consultants, subcontractors, and other project teams.
- Make sure drawings follow project requirements, specifications, and approved standards.
- Identify and solve clashes between different drawings.
- Manage drawing revisions and quality checks.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- At least 3 to 5 years of drafting and drawing coordination experience in construction.
- Good skills in AutoCAD, including shop drawings and coordination drawings.
- Knowledge of architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
- Knowledge of BIM, Revit, or Navisworks is an advantage.
- Understanding of drawing standards, revisions, and document control.
- Good coordination, communication, and organisation skills.
