Asset Management Expert

We are hiring an experienced Asset Management Expert for a management job in Qatar. This senior role focuses on a Combined Cycle Power Plant with integrated water desalination facilities. The successful candidate will oversee both power generation and desalination assets from a technical and commercial point of view.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the overall performance, operation, and management of power generation and water desalination assets.
• Keep assets performing well, with strong reliability, availability, and operational efficiency.
• Manage and monitor key contracts, including Power Purchase Agreements (PPA), Fuel Supply Agreements (FSA), and Long-Term Service Agreements (LTSA).
• Lead the yearly budgeting process, financial planning, and cost control for the assets.
• Monitor operation and maintenance work to make sure it meets contract and performance requirements.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or another relevant engineering field.
• Extensive experience in a Combined Cycle Power Plant integrated with water desalination facilities.
• Previous senior operations or management experience, ideally as a Plant Manager, Operations Manager, or Maintenance Manager.
• A strong understanding of power generation and desalination plant operation and maintenance.
