We are hiring a Lifting Supervisor for an immediate start in Lusail, Qatar. This is an 8-month contract role for an experienced professional who can control lifting work safely on site. The working day is 10 hours.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and control all lifting activities according to approved lifting plans and method statements.
  • Work with the Lifting Appointed Person to keep lifting operations safe.
  • Check the skills and certificates of crane operators, riggers and signalers.
  • Run toolbox talks and pre-lift safety meetings.
  • Inspect lifting equipment, accessories and rigging gear before use.
  • Watch weather, wind speed and ground conditions during lifts.
  • Make sure communication and hand signals are clear during lifting work.
  • Check that lifting permits are valid and follow the Permit-to-Work system.
  • Report unsafe conditions, near misses and lifting incidents.
  • Work with the HSE team and site management to keep lifting safety standards high.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent qualification.
  • A valid Lifting Supervisor training certificate (mandatory).
  • At least 5 years of experience as a Lifting Supervisor.
  • An experience letter that confirms your lifting supervisor work.
